When An Athlete Registers
Race Pace Club AZ registration occurs 3 times a year. When an athlete registers you will pay a RPC team registration fee ($33) and a City of Sedona Pool Facility Use fee ($52.50). On the registration confirmation page you will see a link to exit the club site and register your athlete for annual USA Swimming membership. USA Swimming registration will only need to be set up once a year — during the Fall season or when you first join the club.
Once you have registered for the Race Pace Club AZ team you can expect a confirmation email which acts as a receipt that you have completed the process. When your athlete is approved and placed on the roster you will receive an invoice for monthly club dues or your seasonal payment invoice if you elect to pay for the entire season at a lump sum at a 5% discount. If paying monthly you will receive a PayPal invoice for monthly club dues on the 1st of each month. Payments are expected by the 15th of each month. Please ensure that your invoice is not going into your spam folder as payments after the 15th of each month will incur a late fee.
Please note that service points are required for all families. You can find information about that on the Meets and Events drop-down menu under "Service Points" on our homepage.
USA Swimming Registration Fee- $78 per year* is paid to USA Swimming by all swimmers upon joining the team and each September thereafter. This is a required fee that covers the cost to register the swimmer with USA Swimming.
RPC Team Registration Fee- $33 per season*: Collected by RPC. $33 when you join and then at the beginning of each season thereafter (on 1/1, 5/1 and 9/1).
City of Sedona Pool Facility Use fee- $52.50 per athlete, per season*: collected by RPC and paid to City of Sedona. $52.50 when you join and then collected every January 1st, May 1st, September 1st thereafter, for each athlete.

Swimmers who choose to participate in swim meets will be charged for the meet based on the specific fees for that meet. Families can expect to pay for a $8 LSC surcharge per athlete per meet and typically anywhere from $4-8 per individual event (out of state meets tend to be more) as well as coaches’ fees. Coaches’ fees are calculated based on hotel accommodations and session fees ($50 per session) divided by the number of families that have participated in the meet. Meet fees are invoiced per family via PayPal and are due on receipt.
Please note that if you have declared your swimmer's participation in a meet you will be charged for those meet fees regardless of your swimmer's actual participation at the meet (RPC is charged by the host team once the meet entries are sent in prior to the start of the event and are always non-refundable).
Membership Cancellation, Holds and Suspensions
Please note that RPC requires that those wishing to suspend their team participation either permanently or for a specific period of time must contact a team administrator to fill out the proper paperwork. Race Pace Club AZ requires that any changes to account status be given in writing via the RPC Online Suspension Notice Form. All cancellations are subject to a 15-day notice policy. Registration fees are non-refundable.
If you have questions on your account please contact Brook Fulton.
Race Pace Club AZ typically takes a break at the end of each competition season. Short Course break usually falls in April and the Long Course break in late July. Dues remain the same for each month.
