Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) and Sailfish Sports Project may wish to take photographs (individual and in groups) of swimmers under the age of 18 that may include your registrant during their participation in the club. All photos will be taken and published in line with club policy and could be used on the team website, social media, in newspaper articles or in club notifications. The club requires parental consent to take and use photographs or video as well to be in compliance with USA Swimming SafeSport rules.

I understand that a Membership with USA Swimming is required and agree to register my swimmer(s) as for the upcoming year. The dues for USA Swimming are separate and apart from RPC club dues. If your registrant qualifies for ACCHS or free lunch, you may qualify for reduced fees through USA Swimming’s outreach membership program. ( Please send an email to [email protected] to request the outreach membership link.).     I understand the unique team link is provided at the end of this registration. USA Swimming membership is required for swimmers regardless of whether they compete in meets as not as part of our insurance requirements.  Swimmers aged 11 & under can sign up for Flex membership ($35) until they swim in two meets, when they’ll be prompted to sign up for full membership before entering their third meet. 

I understand that I am signing my child(ren) up for the four-month season and will be billed for that season whether I opted for monthly installments or the seasonal rate. I understand RPC has seasonal financial commitments to be able to provide this program and it is the responsibility of every family in the program to do their part (payment, volunteering, etc) so the swim programs can continue.

(Winter Example: If we have 10 swimmers in a program and 8 of them decide they don’t want to swim the last month because it’s too cold and don’t want to pay for “unused time”, the program’s income decreases dramatically while our expenses are soaring as we must pay to heat the pool in winter at a cost of about $7,500 total over and above our pool rental.)

I understand that in addition to club dues, I will pay a $92.50 registration fee each four months. This fee goes to the City of Sedona towards the maintenance and electric fees that is charged to the team over and above lane rental. The fees charged by the city in 2024 to keep the pool open year-round totaled approximately $21,000. 

The Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) adheres to the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations, including the USA Swimming Code of Conduct. In addition, Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) has a Parent Code of Conduct as well as a Swimmer Code of Conduct  that must be adhered to at all times. I understand that all time-sensitive communications are sent through WhatsApp. This would include weather-related practice cancelations or early release. I have read and will comply with all provisions set forth in the Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace Club) Health & Safety Protocols and COVID Waiver. I understand that violation of these health and safety guidelines will result in dismissal from practice with no refund. 

 Your role as a volunteer is essential to the success of our team.  Race Pace Club AZ requires a minimum amount of service points per family each season based on the training level of your most advanced athlete. You and your family may choose to serve and earn additional points, but unfulfilled service points will be billed at the end of each season at the rate of $30 per unserved point.  To avoid being billed, it's crucial to read the and understand the Race Pace Club AZ Service Points Policy and how it relates to your family. With a positive attitude and a willingness to lend a hand, you will also have a great impact on your swimmer’s athletic environment and love of swimming.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in Race Pace Club AZ sports program, related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that: 1) The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, 2) I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, 3) I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and, 4) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Race Pace Club AZ their directors, officers, officials, agents, team doctors and medical practitioners, volunteers and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
