AUTUMN 2024 Pre-Competition Pre-Registration Copy

Pre-register here for the Autumn-Winter 2024 Pre-Competition Swim Skills.  EXPECTED START DATE: AUG 12… Class times are tentatively set for 4:30-5:00/5:30 depending on each child’s endurance level. We will confirm this time after we negotiate our autumn contract with the City of Sedona.

Pre-Competition Swim Club Dues

No payment is due at this time. Once the class confirms and begins, payment will be billed at the beginning of each month and due by the 10th of each month. The monthly fee is $125 and is not credited for absences, days not used, etc. As your child becomes stronger, we will add additional time and days at no extra cost until they move up into the Novice swim team group ($5 more/month). *

Payment Policy

Payment is due for the month no later than the 10th of the month. I understand that payment is for the current month and that it is non-refundable and no credits are given for absence, unused days, unsafe weather (lightning) or other cancelations such as pool closures by the City of Sedona for maintenance or repair.  I also agree to give 2 weeks notice of intent to discontinue prior to the first of the month so that swimmers on the waiting list can be notified to fill in the limited lane space.

Liability and Waiver

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in Race Pace Club AZ (RPC Swim School) sports program, related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that: 1) The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, 2) I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, 3) I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and, 4) I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Race Pace Club AZ (Sedona Race Pace) their directors, officers, officials, agents, team doctors and medical practitioners, volunteers and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.

Photography and Video

Race Pace Club AZ (RPC Swim School) and our non-profit, Sailfish Sports Project may wish to take photographs (individual and in groups) of swimmers under the age of 18 that may include your child during their participation in the club. All photos will be taken and published in line with USA Swimming photography policies and could be used on the team website, in newspaper articles or in club notifications. The club requires parental consent to take and use photographs or video as well to be in compliance with USA Swimming SafeSport rules.
